Seven Days, Star Trek, and Swimming... also known as a random moment with Katie

So, he's due 1 week from today. I wonder when he'll really show up. I wonder if he's really a "he." I can't wait to see what he looks like. I wonder if he'll have Paul's nose. I think I like Paul's nose better than mine-- at least on a boy. Oh well, I just know he'll be perfect and beautiful. I'm having crazy dreams again. The other night I dreamed I was giving birth on a space station where they forced everyone to have a c-section. I was trying to run away, but there weren't many places to go since we were in deep space. I guess that's what I get for watching Star Trek movies and reading Childbirth education books right before bed. LOL. Paul and I have been having a Star Trek movie marathon. We are lucky to have a great library that lets you check out dvds. We have now re-watched all six of the original movies. I just love Spock. :) Today was fun. I drove up to Paul's office to have lunch with him. His office is in a sort of outdoor mall above a Talbots store. We walked around then had burgers at a really yummy place. I think we may go swimming tonight. YAY. Did I tell you guys that I learned how to swim? LOL, I'm 24 and pregnant and I just learned how to swim!! I love it. It's getting trickier now that the baby is so big, so mostly I just walk around the pool like I used to before I could swim. I hope I will still be able to swim after he's born. I seriously could not swim before I got PG. Weird, oh well, I'm all about the water lately... Hmm... I see that I have done some rambling! Enjoy your evening. I'm off to make a culinary delight for Mr. Emra. Here's hoping anyway.
